Summary Of the Project
Overall Objective of this project is Ensure health and safety of the community by removing PCB contaminated oil from open environment.
Targeted Outcomes/Results of the project are,
- Increased awareness among welders on a Sustainable mechanism for handling PCB contaminated welding plants safely and safely storage until final disposal.
- PCB inspection of all welding equipment identified by the inventory at the District level.
- Draining and Retro filling of PCB contaminated transformers in welding facilities (1,600 PCB contaminated distribution transformers from welding sector) Safely cleaning of PCBs containing or contaminated welding equipment in Sri Lanka.
